Beyond Designing with Lines

Swedish Group organized an event on the 12th of November, 2018 to inspire designers and interior architects who are open to innovative and unconventional design products, how material solution technology away from the standard ranges could transform their design concepts.

The event touched on innovative materials that best suit the comfort and safety needs of human comfort in a workplace environment, while keeping it in continuous optimum operating condition for today and the future. As art has always been a way by which to communicate important insights and ideas in society, our materials were presented in a creative way to express the concept “Beyond Designing with Lines” so as to show designers how the material solution technologies we offer can transform their designs beyond basic design lines, and instead, how far they could push the boundaries of their design concepts to produce further innovative designs when designing the layout of a project interior so that the final outcome of their designed indoor environment can perform for a long period of time, support human wellness as well as save on maintenance and upkeep costs. The event was successful for attracting a larger number of attendees than initially anticipated, who got acquainted with what Swedish Group can offer their project interior. Notable architects and interior designers were present and networked during the event. The event was also attended by his Excellency Mr. Jan Thesleff, the Ambassador of Sweden to Egypt, who showed his support to Swedish Group’s efforts at introducing the efficiency of Scandinavian interior design ideas and materials to the Egyptian market.
